Thoughtful Thursday

Today I'm going to dedicate my post to the people struggling for their freedom in Burma - an amazing country full of beauty and love - despite the military junta's best efforts to suppress the population. Burma is also the next-door neighbour to Thailand, which used to be Siam, our ancestoral home so weez feel a litle bit of a bond...Please please take a few moments to think about how brave the people are to stand up against the regime that brutally wipes out any sign of defiance. Here are some Burmese images:

Aung San Suu Kyi - a truly amazing woman...

Shwedagon Temple...stunning...

Brave Burmese monks...

You inspired me. I posted about Burma too. I don't know if signing petitions will give any help but we have to try what we can...

I love to think of how brave the monks are. They are truly heros. That kitten has no doubt been influenced by her neighboring Siamese to bravery and wonderousness!

We are all hoping for the best for the Monks in Burma. Of course I can't ignore the beauty of that little kitten, such an adorable fur ball.

we too have been following this story. That such oppression can still exist in today's day and age is horrific. We support the burmese fighters 110%.
