Meezer Rule Wednesday

Our rule is...always be proud of your Pedigree names! Yup, our lovely breeder Mrs Tank from Kristophe Siamese came up with the goods and emailed our names through to us along with our pedigree history!

Please may I introduce to you...

Adouaam Scarlet Cardinal

Adquaam Blue Moon

Here is our parentage...our Great Grandad was a Grand Champion! But then again his wife was called Lionkins Lady Mottlemoth!!! Bigify to see some more funny...er...um...I mean names to be proud of!

As for me...well appetite has been slow, I stopped eating on Sunday, seemed withdrawn and Monday morning I did a sick-up, and I hadn't been poo since the Thursday...so we did an emergency vet visit and I got some fluids, an enema and a zantac jab and an anti-nausea jab from Caroline Vet, which perked me up a bit, but by this morning I was off my food again and very quiet. We were going to the vet today anyway as I was having my second blast of chemo this afternoon - administered by Sarah Vet. They had to check all my levels were OK and I am glad to report that my red blood cells are back up to 23, they had dropped to 19 on Monday; white blood cells are lower end of normal, but high enough so I could still get my chemo. I also had some fluids and two anti-emetics at the Vet Place.

I am home now, brighter and hungrier - I have eaten properly for the first time in days. Sarah Vet thinks I may have been feeling nauseous over the past few days, hence showing interest in food but balking back when it is presented to me...there is no evidence of pain, in fact I remain playful and love to hunt shoelaces, a cat in pain wouldn't do that. so I have to have anti-nausea jabs daily for the next few days now to se if that helps me out...I'm still fighting!

Thank you all for stopping by to see me!
Love
Stormie

What regal names. We like Storm and Castle, though.

We hope you do well through your chemo, Storm. It can't be fun, but it's the only way to get well.

What majestic names you both have!

Poor Storm, you really are going through it love aren't you. Chemo can be so hard, but I'm very glad you have such attentive vets who are helping you cope with it. I bet you feel better now with a proper meal inside you. You take it easy now, I'm thinking of you xx

Oh Storm, I am so happy you are feeling a little better and eating more. The chemo must be hard going on your beautiful little body and soul. I really really feel for you.

I enjoyed reading those pedigree names! Very interesting! My human once had a siamese whose pedigree name was Snazzy Student Prince and his sister was Snazzy Lilac Mist! Strange names.

I'll let you in to a secret: I don't have a pedigree name because I am *gasp* just pet quality. PLEASE don't tell the cat blogosphere about this, I don't think i could cope with the shame.

Sending more royal kisses and purrs your way x

I love your pedigree names - it's obvious you come from great catfolk!

Stormie, I hope the anti-nausea medication helps you be able to eat.

Stormie, those are some really funny and cute names on your pedigree! Are we related somehow? Your momma's name has Sabrina in it, and that is my name. Your great grandma's name has Shooting Star in it, and my middle names (I have two) are Lucky Star! Interesting, isn't it? I hope your pukies stop and your poopies start, that your appetite stays better and you keep feeling playful. You are always in my purrayers.
Love, purrs and headbutts from your pseudo sister,
Sabrina

Your pedigree names are very elegant, but I like Storm and Castle better. I am very glad that you aren't in any pain. I am also glad that you got a good meal in you. Keep eating and playing and fighting the good fight.

Oh it's lovely to see your pedigree at last and I'm so glad that your breeder is as much of a pack rat as Mummy and all the other Breeders we know! ;) There are so many Champions and Grand Champions in my pedigree, as I'm the Grand Daughter of the only Aby to have been made UK Supreme Grand Champion, even Ramses can't match mine and he's a Champion himself! ;) Mummy's having fun designing and printing my kittens pedigrees at the moment, though we're still waiting on the GCCF for their official numbers...

You're such a brave girl Stormie, I'm not sure I'd be such a good girl as you are if I had to have all those vet visits and needles... Though if you're up to playing hunt the shoelace you must be feeling pretty good! That's such a great game! :)

Purrs,
Isis

I tagged you for the three name meme so if you have a chance to sneak onto the pooter again you can have fun doing it!

Glad you are feeling better, Stormie. When huans are having chemo, a lot of times they get hungry, but nothing tastes good to them. Or else nausea is a problem. I'm glad the meds seem to be helping.
I like Storm and Castle better than your pedigree names....

Black Cat said...

Hi Stormie darling. I'm glad the meds are making you feel better and hope and pray you get stronger and stronger.

Cool pedigree names. William was a pedigree Burmese and his pedigree name was Adcribu Rama Ray which I think is rather cool:) xxx
