Naughty Meezer Monday

The weather is getting a little colder now so Meowmie has put the heating system on for the winter months ahead. She is conscious of the environment though and only has it on a low setting; the heating system also self-regulates so it turns itself off when it hits a certain level of heat, and then comes back on when it goes below a certain level of heat - this function is VERY annoying when you are cuddled up to the radiator though, one minute I am all toasty, the next it goes all cold again. Now that the radiators are on she uses them to dry her washing - this gives us the oppotunity to make our VERY OWN nests and bedding areas! We do this without fail, everytime she places anything on the radiators, hence she has to remember not to leave things on them when she leaves the house or goes to bed. Last night Meowmie washed my towels (they are mine, they are on my sofa to protect it) and foolishly left them on the radiators, when she got in from work today we had pulled them off the radiator and made a BRILLANT and COSY nest, look:

My other naughty act tonight was to beg and beg and beg and beg for her to share some of her dinner with me. She selfishly made herself some chicken tonight, I think this is highly unfair, specially cos I am on an exclusion diet (have been for weeks and will continue to be for weeks to come!) and am only allowed catfish and tapioca Sensitivity Control dry food. I was REALLY annoyed with her, so I made her meal-time unbearable with my begging face! I even tried to climb on her - which I NEVER do! I do not go on to humans! Here I am, making a nuisance of myself:

Don't tell Ben Vet, but Meowmie gave in and eventually gave me a tiny piece of chicken to satisfy my raging chicken-hunger :) It tasted like heaven...nothing else apart from catfish and tapioca flavour food has passed my lips for weeks and weeks now.

Healthwise - Ise still being forced to have 2.5ml of lactulose every night and I still have my steroid every other night; vomitting frequency has definitely reduced and I can manage 2 (sometimes 3) day stretches without sicking now. My whiskers and still growing nicely and my tummy-hair is coming back too, it is quite a good length! Castle is super but still fat and still on a diet though, the big Boom Boom!

We are also all still praying for Miss Peach...Ise send her big hugs and purrs x

PS - I wish I could have voted for ALL my friends in the Halloween Contest! You are all so fantastic in your own ways and all deserve a prize!

Since it was only a tiny bite of chicken - Ben Vet doesn't have to find out. Stay with your diet though because it makes you feel better in the long run. Stay warm in your cozy nest!

Greetings Stormie. YOu and Castle look very cozy and happy. we have a little heater in our "Paradise room" the place mommie and dad shove us at night so we do not get naughty at night.... anyway we have a little heater in there which is good. Mommie has hot flashes and loves it cold as Siberia at night.

We love chicken. Yuuuummmmmmmmmmm lucky lucky girl you are.

Prinnie does not get Lactulose but mommie sneaks it in both of my meals (she purposely gives me a little bit of meatglop with the lactulose in it so I will finish it)

We agree. the Halloween contest was a great success. we loved every single costume. What a fun time.

purrrrs, caesar

Oh Stormie Kormie:) You both look so cozy in your towel nest. Good that you help take care of yourselves when mommy is busy being away. She needs good kitty cats! I am so glad to see your face hairs coming back now too! I have never had any whiskers so I do not even miss them. You are a very brave kitty and I look up to you with great courage.
Love Miss Peach who thanks you ever so much for making the cute photo of me in my Halloween sweater and it got to me 2 times, one from Latte and one from Chairman Mao! Blog kitties just rock my world these days!!! Big Headbunks to you in ol London Town!

Hi Storm, so sorry, Mom has been having crazy things going on so sometimes we just peek and read. We saw the Halloween pictures. They were scary!! And the beaches were really cool! I am sure such a small piece can only be therapeutic. I think you should be allowed to be excited about whatever food you want.

I am jealous of your beds on the floor like that! I am so deprived.

You and Castle look very cozy in your nest of towels, Storm. :)

I am glad your whiskers and tummy hair are growing back, although I don't think any cat really needs them. ;) I get along fine without them! I am also glad you are sicking up less frequently too.

What a wonderful nest you made! I think it was a very good idea!
ps - one little piece of chicken should be OK!

Oh how wonderful!! I've been in deep trouble for stealing paper and shredding it. I can't help myself, I have compulsions to do bad things.

Catfish & tapioca is an unusual combination, but we don't think a few small bites of chicken will harm you. As long as you don't eat any skin or spicy sauce, chicken is very bland so you should be OK.

We agree...all the Halloween contest costumes were so great, it was hard to do our voting!

Congratz on the towel beds. We'd do the same thing!

What a great little nest you made with the warm towels!

Poor little Storm, you look so sad, I think I would sneak you a little bite of the yummy chicken, too.

Yay for no yakking!!! Whoo hoo!!!

Hey, Maw remembers those radiators from going to her M-i-L's house in Colchester. We would pull those towels off too. It is not your fault that she left them on there.

I agree with Forty Paws: double yay for no yakking! You made a great nest from the warm towels. I don't think a tiny taste chicken will hurt you, but don't try to make a habit out of it. When you find your diet hard to stick to remember that it is helping you have fewer sick-ups.
